Great Lakes Impact Investment Platform            

OAQDA is a proud partner in the Great Lakes Impact Investment Platform, a tool created by the Conference of Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers as a new structure to encourage environmentally sustainable economic growth in the Great Lakes State and Provinces.

The Ohio Department of Health Director sits on the Authority's board as an ex-officio member. Furthermore, OAQDA and the Department of Health have a shared goal of improving health in Ohio's communities that has translated to a beneficial partnership.

   

OAQDA has a long history of partnership with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA Director is an ex-officio members of the Authority board. Furthermore, OAQDA works in collaboration with the EPA’s Office of Compliance Assistance and Pollution Prevention (OCAPP). They are a non-regulatory program that helps Ohio businesses and organizations comply with environmental regulations, prevent pollution, develop and achieve sustainability goals and finance recycling and litter prevention efforts. They provide Ohio small businesses with free and confidential assessment, assistance, and advice.

OAQDA has collaborated with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) on numerous projects involving upgrades to state facilities, which save taxpayer money and reduce harmful emissions for Ohio communities.
