Michael F. Curtin is a retired editor and associate publisher of The Columbus Dispatch. During his 38-year newspaper career, he also served as president, chief operating officer and vice chairman of The Dispatch Printing Company.
Following his retirement from The Dispatch, Curtin served four years (2013-2016) in the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 17th District, serving the west and south sides of Columbus.
In civic and community service, he has served for over 25 years on the boards of some of central Ohio's leading nonprofit organizations. At present, he is a board member of the Mount Carmel Foundation, the Columbus International Visitors Council and the Washington Gladden Social Justice Park.
Curtin is a 1973 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Journalism. He and his wife, Sharon, reside in the Village of Marble Cliff; they have two children and four grandchildren.
